You Are:
A seasoned technology leader with profound expertise in Amazon Connect and the AWS ecosystem. You will spearhead contact center modernization initiatives, leading cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that enhance customer experiences using scalable, secure, and intelligent cloud contact center platforms. You will be responsible for the complete delivery of Amazon Connect solutions, overseeing design, architecture, and deploying AWS services such as Lambda, Lex, S3, and Contact Lens.
The Work:
- Team Leadership: Manage end-to-end ownership of a team dedicated to designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based contact center transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.
- Business Development: Lead and manage proposal responses to client RFPs and RFIs, cultivating a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities and transformation projects.
- Market Engagement: Collaborate with market unit leaders to assess emerging client demands, define skill requirements, and align capability development initiatives with business needs.
- Talent & Practice Growth: Expand the practice through active participation in talent acquisition while mentoring and upskilling current team members to adapt to evolving technology and client requirements.
- Project Delivery Excellence: Direct the delivery of complex contact center transformation programs by engaging clients and internal teams in solution design, requirements analysis, design workshops, backlog grooming, and conducting regular demos.
Travel may be required for this role, varying from 0-100% based on client needs.
Here's what you need:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect Contact Center, with deep knowledge of product features and related AWS services like Lex, Pinpoint, Transcribe, and Comprehend.
- At least 7 years of experience designing complex contact center architectures, including integrations with CRM and back-office applications.
- A minimum of 7 years on the AWS Cloud platform and services, showcasing Solution Architect skills.
- At least 5 years of experience working with AWS contact center technologies, including Amazon Connect flows, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM policies.
- Extensive knowledge of contact center KPIs, call flows, IVRs, agent routing, queue logic, callback handling, and escalation processes.
- At least 7 years of program and people management experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (minimum of 12 years). For those with an Associate's degree, 6 years of work experience is required.
Professional & Technical Skills Requirement:
- Experienced techno-functional professional with substantial experience in large-scale business and operational transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of the contact center technology landscape.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with Amazon Contact Lens, Amazon Bedrock, Kendra, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or DevOps.
- 10 years of experience with other contact center technologies (like Avaya or Genesys).
