What You’ll Do

Area	Responsibilities
AWS Ecosystem	• Design, provision, and maintain production‑grade AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, EKS/ECS, IAM, etc.) • Implement IaC using Terraform / CloudFormation • Optimize cost, security, and performance across accounts
Observability & Reliability	• Define and implement end‑to‑end monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.) • Build custom metrics & dashboards to give product teams real‑time insight • Conduct post‑mortems and drive continuous improvement
CI/CD & Automation	• Own and evolve our Git‑based pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) • Automate testing, security scans, and deployments to multiple environments • Ensure “shift‑left” practices for quality and compliance
Collaboration & Mentorship	• Partner with developers, product owners, and QA to embed reliability into the development lifecycle • Share best practices, write runbooks, and mentor junior engineers • Contribute to on‑call rotation and incident response
Growth Path	• After 6‑12 months, take on a Lead SRE/DevOps role, shaping strategy, hiring, and roadmap for the entire reliability organization

Who You Are

Requirement	Details
Experience	• Minimum 3 years of professional DevOps/Cloud engineering experience, primarily on AWS • Proven track record building and operating production‑grade services at scale
Technical Skills	• IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK) • Container orchestration (EKS/ECS, Docker) • Monitoring/observability stack (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK) • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI) • Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Go) • Familiarity with security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager)
Mindset	• “You build it, you run it” attitude • Strong problem‑solving skills and a bias for action • Excellent communication – you can translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders
Nice‑to‑Have	• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway) • Knowledge of Kubernetes operators, Helm, or ArgoCD • Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
