Qualifications

• University or college degree in computer science or comparable training, as well as at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Very good knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies, especially Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Azure DevOps and Microsoft Fabric
• Experience in data modeling, data storage and data access, as well as in Big Data architectures and integration concepts
• Proficient programming in Python, Java or Scala as well as SQL and experience with distributed systems and tools such as dbt, Apache Spark, Flink or Beam
• Very good German, good French, and good English skills

Responsibilities

• Design and development of a new data platform in the Azure Cloud in the logistics sector
• Creation of data models for business analytics and data science
• Structuring and organization of data stocks with modern cloud and Big Data technologies
• Connection of data sources and development of transformation and integration processes
• Close collaboration with DevOps and data architecture in an agile environment
