Your Role

Join PRODYNA, a leading Microsoft partner, and support our customers in building and operating modern Azure environments. We specialize in implementing Azure Landing Zones with a 100% Terraform/Terragrunt approach and continuously expand our blueprint with further integrations, e.g., with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Azure DevOps, and Azure DevBoxes. We are looking for you as an Engineer to guide our customers through successful cloud adoption according to the principles of the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: You implement dynamically scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructures in Azure.
• Network Design & Private Connectivity: You plan private networking, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS – ensuring secure, performant connectivity.
• Identity & Security: You cleanly implement IAM/RBAC, Managed Identities/Service Principals, and federated identities (OIDC/Workload Identity).
• IaC, GitOps & CI/CD for Infrastructure: You define infrastructure reproducibly with Terraform/Tofu, utilize GitOps, and pipeline workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Observability: You establish monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting (e.g., Azure Monitor/CloudWatch + central logs/diagnostics) and increase availability & performance.
• Cloud-native Infrastructure: You sensibly use container orchestration (Kubernetes), serverless patterns, and managed services – including standardized deployments.

Requirements

• Cloud Know-how: Experience with Azure (confident use of console/portal); initial practical experience in deploying & managing resources in the cloud.
• Compute & Network: Familiar with various compute possibilities and the secure setup of private networks.
• IaC & Automation: Practical experience with Terraform/Tofu (Terragrunt welcome), CLI automation (Azure CLI/AWS CLI); Git workflows are familiar to you.
• Secretless & Security Basics: Understanding of IAM, RBAC, Managed Identities/Service Principals, OIDC/Workload Identity, network security, encryption, and compliance principles.
• Observability: You know at least one monitoring solution (e.g., Azure Monitor/CloudWatch) as well as logging/diagnostics for infrastructure.
• Scripting & OS: At least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) and Linux basics (login, navigation, files, CLI tools).
• Cloud-native Patterns: You know how Kubernetes/container orchestration and serverless can be sensibly used in infrastructure designs.
• Work Style & Communication: Team spirit, positive can-do attitude, clean documentation, problem-solving with an eye for detail; German & English (min. C1).

Application Process

• Initially, there will be a casual first meeting with HR, where insights will be provided, mutual expectations clarified, and general questions answered to establish an initial general framework.
• A second meeting will delve into technical depth; there may also be an assignment to complete. We will discuss project flows, customer projects, technical requirements, etc. We will naturally involve a subject matter expert for support.
• In the final step, there will naturally be an opportunity to get an impression on-site at the respective locations and to get to know the team over a shared lunch. You will also meet the respective team leader and COO.
