Role Description

GlobifyHQ Ltd is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer for a Multinational Blue‑Chip Client (Financial Services) for a full-time hybrid role based in Oakville, ON. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions on the Azure platform. Key responsibilities include building data pipelines, creating and managing data models, performing ETL processes, and optimizing data workflows. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and usability, while also supporting advanced data analytics initiatives. Remote work flexibility is provided.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Engineering practices, including data pipeline development and data integration
• Experience in Data Modeling and designing scalable and efficient data architectures
• Expertise in performing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing
• Knowledge of Data Analytics to support insights-driven decision-making and reporting
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Data Services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote tasks
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in data engineering and cloud-based solutions
