Role Description:

• We are looking for an experienced Azure ETL Tester with over years of expertise who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our critical data pipelines and transformations.
• This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust testing strategies across our Azure, Databricks, ADF and Salesforce environments.
• A strong understanding of SQL is a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills.

Required Technical Expertise:

• Should have a minimum of yrs experience in design and implementing comprehensive test plans for data pipelines and transformations in a Microsoft Azure Databricks and Power BI technology stack.
• In-depth knowledge in functional testing Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Power BI using SQL Queries
• Knowledge in Data testing, ETL functional testing, implementation of Automation test frameworks in Data platforms
• Knowledge in Data governance, Data pipeline framework, Data ingestion, Data ops, Data profiling, Unity catalog, etc.
• Conduct data quality assessments, validation, and profiling using tools like Great Expectations.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks integrated into CICD pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Monitor and assess pipeline performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Implement and manage DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Git, and related tools.
• Document test cases, validation rules, and QA processes clearly and consistently.
• Proactive in identifying gaps and raising issues Self-motivated, possessing initiative to get things done with high quality
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Experience with various ETL tools and technologies such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, etc.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts.
• Experience with test management tools e.g Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM.

Salary Range:

CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 100,000 Per Year
