Job Title : Azure Platform Engineer

Experience : 8 -10 Years

Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Pune

Key Responsibilities • Platform Design & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement Azure Landing Zones and scalable infrastructure components using Terraform and/or Azure Bicep. • DevOps & Automation: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, focusing on automation of infrastructure deployment and application delivery. • Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and operate AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) at scale, including cluster provisioning and security. • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce Azure security best practices, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Key Vault. • Networking: Configure complex hybrid networking solutions, including VNet peering, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Private Endpoints, and ExpressRoute. • Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana. • Governance & Optimization: Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, GDPR, SOC) and proactively optimize Azure environments for cost-effectiveness. • Technical Leadership: Lead technical initiatives, provide architectural guidance to junior team members, and drive root-cause analysis for major incidents.

Required Technical Skills • Experience: 8-12+ years in Infrastructure & Cloud platforms (specifically Microsoft Azure). • IaC: Expert level hands-on experience with Terraform (preferred) or Azure ARM templates/Bicep. • Automation/Scripting: Proficient in Python and PowerShell. • Cloud Services: Deep understanding of Azure compute (VMs, Scale Sets), Storage, Networking, and PaaS services. • DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Git. • OS/Containers: Linux/Windows administration, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS). • Certification: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) preferred.
