Azure Production Support Engineer

Job Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
• Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
• Monitoring tools (Azure App Insights.)
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows systems and networking

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of Azure experience
• Good BFSI domain knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
• Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
• Monitoring tools (Azure App Insights.)
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows systems and networking

Responsibilities:

• Monitor live Azure applications and infrastructure 24/7
• Respond to production incidents, outages, and alerts
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes
• Handle incident tickets (ServiceNow/JIRA) and ensure SLA adherence
• Analyze logs using Azure App Insights
• Provide on-call support for critical issues
• Track system health, metrics, and alerts
• Work with development teams for bug fixes and deployments
• Participate in release management and change processes
• Suggest system improvements and automation opportunities
• Document incidents, solutions, and known issues
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
• Automate repetitive tasks
• Improve reliability and reduce manual interventions
• Implement proactive monitoring and preventive fixes
