Mid/Senior Azure Data Engineer & Gen AI Specialist

Location & Work Model

• Location: Arlington, VA (Fully Remote) • Work Hours: Fully Remote, supporting EST hours • Hiring Status: Mid-level or Senior Candidate Accepted • Recruitment Process: Video interview process • Eligibility: USC (U.S. Citizen), GC (Green Card), or GC EAD only

Key Responsibilities

• Build bespoke advanced AI solutions for clients and internal teams leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) techniques. • Develop and translate computer algorithms into prototype code; maintain, organize, and identify trends in large data sets. • Design SQL databases, create process documentation, and develop technical solutions to improve data access and usage. • Utilize Python and Azure Synapse for real-time business metric aggregation, data warehousing, querying, schema, and data management. • Design, develop, and implement high-performance Python coding focused on efficiency, scalability, and performance. • Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and stakeholders to define objectives and deliver data-driven solutions. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize generative AI system performance. • Conduct unit, integration, and system testing; document results and conduct code reviews. • Maintain version control and document all processes to ensure quality and replicability of generative models.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science projects (preferably in GenAI). • Cloud Platform: Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Fabric preferred). • Core Languages: Python (Advanced), SQL (Expert in database design). • Data Libraries: Advanced proficiency in Numpy and Pandas. • ML Frameworks: Advanced level on PyTorch and TensorFlow within the Azure ecosystem. • AI Knowledge: Generative AI (GenAI) experience strongly preferred; familiarity with Data Modeling, Warehousing, and ETL processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)

• Azure Certification. • Background in System Testing and Performance Optimization.
