Back End Developer, Remote, Part Time

Freelance Backend Developer | 3+ Years | AWS | Remote | Contract

We are hiring a freelance backend developer to build the backend foundation for a consumer gaming/app venture. The role includes creating a secure user account system, storing basic user/profile data, enabling shared accounts across apps, and supporting subscription/membership features. AWS will be the preferred cloud environment.

Format- Remote, Flexible, Part Time

Remuneration- Rs 42,000/ month

Tenure – 3 months (potential for extension)

What you’ll do • Build backend architecture and APIs for a gaming/consumer app • Create user signup, login, authentication, and profile systems • Enable a shared account system across multiple apps • Design databases for user data, app data, and subscriptions/membership • Deploy and manage backend services on AWS • Build clean, secure, scalable systems for MVP and future growth

Technical skills • Backend development experience: 3+ years • Strong in API development and backend architecture • Experience with one or more backend stacks such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go • Strong in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB • Experience with authentication, authorization, JWT/session handling • Good understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, CloudWatch • Familiar with REST APIs, security best practices, database design, and scalable system design • Comfortable working independently in an early-stage startup environment
