Responsibilities & Tasks as a Backend Dev. @ bace

As our Backend Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining the platform that powers bace’s smart logistics hubs. You’ll ensure that our platform delivers exceptional performance, scalability, and user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build and Scale: Develop and maintain backend components of our platform.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product and engineering teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Optimize Performance: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and make improvements.
• Ensure Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve issues related to backend and infrastructure.

Backend (min. 3 years)

Experience with microservices & backend web applications, event sourcing, event driven architecture, task queues and distributed systems.

Required: Rust, Postgres, GraphQL

Nice to have: Stripe, Kubernetes, gRPC, MQTT, RabbitMQ, Grafana, Opentelemetry
