Backend Engineer (Remote)

About

You'll build the systems that move real money — safely, instantly, at scale. Banking integrations, AI orchestration, transaction processing, and everything in between.

What you'll do

• Design and build APIs that power didii's payment engine (transfers, bills, airtime, crypto off-ramp)
• Integrate with banking partners (Anchor) and third-party payment providers
• Build the AI orchestration layer that connects Claude to real financial actions
• Ensure 99.9% uptime, idempotent transactions, and bulletproof error handling

What we're looking for

• 3+ years building backend systems in Node.js, Python, or Go
• Experience with payment systems, fintech APIs, or banking integrations
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, queues, and database design
• Security-first mindset — you think about edge cases before they happen
