What You'll Work On

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js + Express.js • Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, write migrations, and manage queries • Implement background jobs, scheduled tasks, and event-driven workflows • Work with Redis for caching and session management • Integrate AI/LLM features (OpenAI API, vector search with Qdrant, RAG pipelines) • Support real-time features via WebSockets • Write validation, middleware, and RBAC-based access control logic • Handle file uploads, PDF parsing, and document processing • Work across a monorepo with shared packages and Dockerized environments

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL (queries, joins, migrations, indexing) • Familiarity with REST API design principles and authentication (JWT, sessions) • Basic understanding of Docker, Git, and CI workflows • Exposure to Redis, caching patterns, or background job systems is a plus • Curiosity about AI integrations (LLMs, embeddings, vector databases) • Ability to debug, trace issues, and write clean, maintainable code • Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
