Overview
Job Description – Budget Financial Analyst – Office of Clinical Research (260142)
Responsible for financial and accounting processes and deliverables related to clinical research activities invoicing & large data sets. This includes the development of clinical research budgets (from start to finish); budget amendments; budget negotiations; creating reports; reviewing clinical trial agreements; scientific protocol, and maintaining fee schedule updates. Must have strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage clinical research budgets from start to finish.
- Prepare budget amendments and participate in budget negotiations.
- Create reports and maintain fee schedules; review clinical trial agreements and scientific protocols.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and handling of large data sets related to clinical research activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, Concentration in Accounting/Finance (Preferred)
- Experience:
- 2 years experience in clinical trials budget development and/or contracts management (Required)
- 2 years experience in an academic clinical research environment (Required)
- 2 years experience in an oncology setting (Preferred)
- 2 years experience with clinical systems (ONCORE, EPIC) (Preferred)
- 2 years experience in financial analysis (Preferred)
- General experience with PHARMA and government (ECOG, SWOG, NCI, NIH) (Preferred)
