About

We are seeking an expert‑level Project Business Analyst to support a statewide Cloud POS Modernization initiative.

Requirements

• Candidates need to live in the Raleigh/Durham areas, no more than 60 miles outside of Raleigh, NC
• Experience supporting and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for complex enterprise solutions
• Expert-level experience with cloud-hosted point-of-sale (POS) and payment processing solutions
• Strong background in enterprise systems integration and modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud architectures supporting POS and payment systems
• Ability to translate modernization drivers (e.g., PCI DSS risks, device constraints, reconciliation issues) into actionable requirements
• Strong understanding of payment device management, NFC/contactless acceptance, and cashiering processes
• Ability to assess performance, stability, customer-experience outcomes, and compliance alignment during testing and deployment
• Proficiency in eliciting, analyzing, and validating business, functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
