We invite you to join the Wholesale department, based in Paris. Its essential mission is to manage and develop external partners globally, ensuring store operations and customer experience of a quality comparable to our own stores.
Job Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in enabling the Wholesale department to precisely monitor the performance of our distributors. Your responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing sales and inventory data, developing dashboards, calculating key performance indicators, and conducting ad hoc analyses. Based on these analyses, you will propose action plans to optimize commercial indicators and prepare future sales campaigns.
Your main missions:
- Development of analyses and dashboards (monthly, quarterly, annual) for the entire Wholesale network:
- Design and present detailed business reviews (monthly, quarterly, annual), including inventory and sales analysis, annual projections per account, sell-through monitoring, and reconciliation with provisional budgets.
- Prepare presentations for the Management Committee.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose concrete action plans (such as stock transfers, replenishments, or commercial challenges), in collaboration with account managers.
- Consolidate and synthesize qualitative feedback from all our partners.
- Conduct any ad hoc analysis necessary for decision-making.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis tools and dashboards, particularly those developed with Power BI.
- Preparation of sales campaigns:
- Analyze historical orders and distributor sell-through, supporting the setting of precise commercial objectives for each account.
- Ensure rigorous monitoring of budget achievement as orders are registered.
- Produce exhaustive sales reports (evolution compared to budget and previous campaigns, analysis by account and product category, average price evolution, offer representativeness, etc.).
- Prepare post-showroom summaries (twice a year) and present the quantitative data to the Management Committee, as well as to the marketing and merchandising teams.
- Budget planning and monitoring:
- Prepare P&L statements per client for the annual budget and budget revisions, in close collaboration with the Wholesale department management.
- Establish detailed revenue projections per client, based on the analysis of historical trends and the integration of account-specific information.
- Ensure alignment of forecasts with the overall financial vision and strategic objectives defined by the Wholesale department management.
Profile
- With a Bac +4/5 degree (Business School, University, or equivalent), you have demonstrated, through a successful first professional experience, strong analytical skills, particularly in roles such as Commercial Analyst in a Wholesale department, or in Management Control, Retail Performance, or Sales Merchandising.
- You speak fluent English; proficiency in another language would be a plus.
- You are recognized for your excellent command of analysis tools, especially Excel (advanced formulas) and Power BI.
