Business Analyst:in Process Automation / Digitalization

What it's about

You will be part of the Operations Digitalization & Automation department – the central unit for the digital further development of the COO division of the Viridium Group. The focus is on customer service: processes are to be automated, customer benefit increased, and efficiency sustainably improved. A central project is the establishment of a group-wide service platform. Under this, we bundle all digitalization initiatives, automate processing, relieve customer service, and control contact frequency even more efficiently – for example, through self-service offerings or the use of Conversational AI (Cognigy). Technologies such as Camunda, Smartfix, and RPA are also part of the toolset and are continuously developed.

As a Business Analyst, you will actively shape this development. You will analyze complex end-to-end processes, identify optimization potential, and structure requirements so that they become concrete, implementable work packages. In close cooperation with customer service units, process experts, and IT development, you will develop practical solutions – from the idea through the use case to testing. The goal is always: tangible added value for customers and employees.

Your specific tasks

• Analysis, documentation, and optimization of business processes within the scope of digitalization and automation projects
• Identification of automation potential in collaboration with customer service and IT
• Conducting workshops with specialist departments for requirements gathering and process recording
• Conception and modeling of target processes using BPMN 2.0 in Camunda
• Creation of requirements analyses and documentation of requirements for automated workflows and RPA solutions
• Coordination with development teams for the technical implementation of processes
• Support in integrating RPA bots (e.g., UiPath) into existing Camunda processes
• Accompanying implementation and conducting tests and quality assurance
• Creation of training materials and conducting user training
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of automated processes after go-live
• Documentation and maintenance of process maps, use cases, and automation portfolios
• Participation in the further development of the company-wide automation strategy

What we expect from you

• Completed university or university of applied sciences degree or completed vocational training
• Several years of experience with the analysis, modeling, and automation of processes
• Several years of experience in participating in or (partially) leading projects
• Experience with agile working methods
• Experience in creating and reviewing test plans
• Sound knowledge of relevant methods and technologies:
  • BPMN
  • RPA applications (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism)
  • Camunda
  • MS Power Platform
• Certifications in Business Analysis / Requirements Management (such as CCBA, CBAP, or CPRE) are an advantage
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
