Business Development & Product Manager

About the Company

A well-established and growing designer and manufacturer of state-of-the‑art Electrical Safety & Protection Equipment that reduces frequency and impact of electrical hazards, such as arc flash and ground faults, is looking to add a Manager of Business Development & Product Management to their team.

Role Overview

• Responsible for Brand and Product Marketing, as well as driving New Product Development in response to evolving market needs, this key role will provide a critical link between customers and internal teams.
• Providing direction for external‑facing groups, this position will align multiple functions to improve customer satisfaction and gather effective market feedback to support relevant product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Understand engineered products and interact with Applications Engineering while guiding Product Management best practices.
• Align multiple functions to improve customer satisfaction and gather effective market feedback to support relevant product improvements.
• Drive New Product Development in response to evolving market needs.
• Provide direction for external‑facing groups.
• Serve as a critical link between customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• A background in Marketing, coupled with technical expertise in Electrical Engineering or experience with electrical capital equipment.
• Ability to understand engineered products and interact with Applications Engineering while guiding Product Management best practices.
• A proven record of managing strategic change processes while coaching and mentoring teams to satisfy defined targets.
• Strategic thinker who combines technical acumen with commercial insight.
• Ability to develop people while enhancing product marketing initiatives and contributing to ongoing product development.

Salary

Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $95 000 – $105 000 and we encourage all applicants interested in this opportunity to apply. Please note, the hiring salary will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and ability to support the organization.
