Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Business & Financial Analyst Lead to drive high visibility financial planning and budgeting work that supports critical federal missions. In this role, you will lead the development of fully loaded cost models, dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports that inform senior level decision‑making. Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis activities for federal planning, PPBE processes, Program Objective Memoranda (POM), and budget formulation.
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and interactive reporting products that support executive level decisions.
- Serve as the Tableau expert on the team, guiding dashboard design and best practices.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on complex data sets, cost models, and budgetary trends.
- Translate analytical findings into clear narratives for senior leaders and clients.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in federal financial planning, PPBE/POM, cost estimation, or budget analysis.
- Demonstrated experience developing fully loaded/fully burdened cost models and financial reporting products.
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience developing dashboards in Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large, complex data sets and communicate insights clearly.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Python, PySpark, or developing machine learning models.
- Experience using APIs to extract, transform, and load data into Azure‑based data environments.
- Familiarity with modern data engineering concepts or cloud analytics environments.
