YOUR MISSIONS

The Ollioules site hosts design, development, and integration activities for high-tech IT systems on board ships for the French Navy and international clients.

At the heart of these systems are the CMS (Combat Management System), software that controls the combat system's equipment.

Surrounded by a team of 20 employees, you will be responsible for the architecture of frameworks and the implementation of evolutions. You will also identify and lead R&D work to anticipate functional or technological needs for these frameworks. Finally, you will provide expertise to the CMS teams on low-level Linux and embedded aspects.

Your Mission

As a Platform Engineer, your goal is to design, build, and automate the infrastructure and tools of our development platform. You will bridge the gap between operations (Ops) and pure development (Dev) with a strong automation culture.

Your Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Orchestration

  • Administer and evolve our Kubernetes clusters
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code to ensure reproducibility and immutability
  • Ensure the scalability and high availability of our environments

Tooling & Development

  • Develop the tools, K8S operators, and microservices for our infrastructure, primarily in Rust and GoLang
  • Optimize the Developer Experience for our users

CI/CD & DevSecOps

  • Integrate "Shift-Left" security into the pipelines

Observability & AI

  • Maintain and enrich the observability stack: LGTM
  • Participate in the integration of AI components (MLOps, inference, or code assistance tools) into the infrastructure

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

For you, a task repeated twice must be automated Agility: You are comfortable with the Spotify model (Squads, Guilds) and cross-functional collaboration Bonus: Curiosity or initial experience with AI/ML workflows
