Role Overview

As a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at a fast‑growing cybersecurity product organization, your role is crucial in defining and operationalizing the company's end‑to‑end security posture. Your expertise in Application Security, Cloud Security, Threat Intelligence, and DevSecOps will be instrumental in leading enterprise‑scale security programs in high‑growth environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Strategy & Governance

    • Define and lead the global information security strategy, vision, and governance framework.
    • Establish security policies, controls, and frameworks aligned with global standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, CERT‑In).
  • Application & Cloud Security Leadership

    • Lead security across all product lines, focusing on mobile app security, transaction security, and cloud‑native deployments.
    • Implement and scale Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, code review practices, and security automation across engineering teams.
  • Threat Detection, Incident Response & Risk Management

    • Build and lead enterprise‑grade threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management programs.
    • Oversee continuous monitoring, red‑teaming, and penetration testing.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Management

    • Oversee compliance across BFSI, FinTech, and global markets.
    • Own audit readiness, documentation, and reporting for internal and external security audits.
  • Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with various departments to embed security across the organization.
    • Present security posture, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

  • Future‑Ready Innovation

    • Lead adoption of advanced security technologies including AI‑driven threat analytics and zero‑trust architecture.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1218 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity leadership roles.
  • Expertise in Application Security, Cloud Security, and DevSecOps.
  • Experience securing cloud‑native platforms and understanding of BFSI/FinTech security standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology; Masters degree preferred.
  • Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, SABSA, ISO 27001 LA/LI.
