About the role

Job Purpose

You are the single most important relationship owner for Etops’ IFA clients in Germany. Your mission is to protect and grow ARR from a named portfolio of flagship accounts. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of customer advocacy, commercial growth and product influence.

Key Responsibilities

Account Ownership

  • Full revenue responsibility for your named accounts (upsell, cross-sell, expansion).
  • Personally own operational and C-level relationships at every client.
  • Conduct quarterly Reviews with client leadership and Etops Executive Board members.

Growth & Expansion

  • Identify and close six-figure upsell/cross-sell opportunities (additional users, new modules, AI add-ons, white-label solutions, API integrations).
  • Partner with clients on their digital roadmaps to position Etops as their strategic WealthTech platform for the next 5–10 years.

Adoption & Value Realisation

  • Drive platform adoption, feature usage and best-practice implementation.
  • Build and execute joint success plans with measurable ROI (time savings, cost reduction, higher client satisfaction scores).
  • Organise regular on-site power-user workshops and training sessions.

Voice of the Customer

  • Act as the primary feedback channel from the German IFA clients into Product, Engineering and the Executive Board.
  • Influence the product roadmap with real client needs.

Required Profile

  • Relevant experience in client-facing roles within WealthTech, IFA, private banking or asset-management software
  • Proven track record as a Key Account or Customer Success Manager for financial intermediaries or banks in Germany
  • Strong network with decision-makers across IFAs, private banks, wealth managers or asset managers in Germany and Switzerland
  • Deep understanding of German IFA workflows, regulation and digitalisation needs
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Strong executive presence and ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships

  • Highly structured and detail-oriented in CRM and account management
  • Commercial DNA – thinks in ARR and expansion, not just “happy clients”
  • Structured, data-driven and intolerant of sloppy CRM data
  • Calm under pressure, outstanding at de-escalating and solving complex client situations
  • Team player who represents the client inside Etops while representing Etops at the client

This is a strategic role in the company: you will regularly present to the Group Executive Board, travel with the CEO/CRO to client meetings and have a material influence on the future of the Etops platform.
