Data & Analytics Engineer

Main responsibilities

• Development of intelligent control solutions to ensure mitigation of business regulatory risk by extracting, transforming, aggregating data into insightful visualizations for Executive Management and Wealth Management (WM) Front Office. You will be reporting to the Head of Business Monitoring in our Geneva office.
• Analyse and understand the existing controls and processes performed within the WM Business Risk and Monitoring function, understand the data sets and business logic in the background, with the aim to automate the data extraction, transformation and visualisation.
• Pursue data transformation and development of feeds to Business Control Monitoring tools, and to existing dashboards (platform: MS PowerBI).
• Enhance the measurement tools allowing to assess the residual risk of the Bank’s Wealth Managements activities from various angles (Investor protection/FinSA, cross-border,credit, external and internal regulatory requirements, internal control framework...).
• Contribute to and implement performance & risk management measurement tools.
• Any other task required by Management relating to the Mission of the employee.

Software Proficiency

• Data extraction and transformation: SQL language. Nice to have: Aqua Data Studio, MS Power Query, SAP Business Object, R, Python, Shiny R Studio.
• Data presentation: MS Power BI and MS Excel.

Your Profile

• 1 to 5 years in data analytics and visualization, preferably in a banking environment
• Strong analytical, naturally well-organized, and curious mindset with excellent research skills
• Assertive, open, and constructive communication, both written and verbal
• An open, flexible, and confident team-player who can quickly adapt to new challenges
• Self-disciplined, goal-oriented, having a "Problem-Action-Results" approach
• Languages : French and English
