Your Role

• Advise on Cloud Data & Analytics Architectures: As a Senior Advisor, you will advise our clients on cloud-based Data & Analytics architectures such as Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Fabric, and Data Mesh based on your many years of professional experience.
• Design Customer-Specific Solutions: With proven, long-term technology expertise in AWS and/or Google Cloud, you will design sophisticated, customer-specific solutions using best practices.
• Lead Strategic Projects: With your many years of experience, you will ensure high-quality and efficient implementation and lead strategically important projects as a Product Owner, Data Architect, or Lead Developer.
• Support Stakeholders: You will act confidently in projects and on an equal footing with business and technical contacts up to management and C-level.
• Take Responsibility for Cloud Data Engineering Engagements: You will be holistically responsible for the content design of our Cloud Data Engineering engagements and will be the central point of contact for employees and clients.
• Ensure Quality, Architecture Standards & Further Development: You will ensure compliance with architectural principles and quality standards and continuously develop our Cloud Data & Analytics methodologies and best practices.

Your Profile

• Long-standing Expertise with Data Platforms: You have at least five years of relevant professional experience and a deep understanding of (Cloud) data platforms and Big Data ecosystems (Kafka, Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake, Iceberg, etc.) as well as Cloud Analytics Services (AWS, GCP), ideally supported by vendor certifications (Professional/Specialist Level) and proven project experience.
• Project Experience in Leadership Roles: You have demonstrable, multi-year practical project experience as a Product Owner, Data Architect, Lead Developer, or in a comparable leadership role.
• Sound Data Platform Architecture Know-how: You have solid experience in common Data Platform architecture concepts such as Data Lake, DWH and data modeling, Data Mesh, and Delta Lake, and you make sound architectural decisions.
• Big Data & Analytics Technologies: You routinely and confidently use Big Data and Analytics technologies such as Databricks and (py)Spark in project contexts and make sound technology decisions.
• Cloud Competence with AWS and GCP: You know the relevant Cloud Analytics Services from AWS and GCP in detail, have used them multiple times in projects, and design scalable Data & Analytics architectures from them.
• AI Competence: You have in-depth AI expertise, actively shape its responsible use within your area of responsibility, and act as an enabler for clients and internally at adesso.
• Language Skills: You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
