You ensure that our data platforms are operated reliably and continuously developed. You combine classic database administration with modern cloud and automation approaches. Your focus is on stability, performance, and the further development of a future-proof data landscape.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of complex database environments in on-premise and cloud structures
• Optimization of queries, resource consumption, and system performance
• Support in building and further developing modern data platforms
• Implementation of security, backup, and recovery concepts
• Collaboration on technical migrations and platform modernizations
• Cooperation with engineering teams for the integration of data-intensive applications
• Error analysis and sustainable resolution of operational disruptions

Qualifications

• Professional experience in database operation or infrastructure management
• Knowledge of at least one major relational database system
• Experience with cloud architectures, preferably Azure-based services
• Understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
• Interest in automation and infrastructure processes
• Independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills in exchange with technical teams
