About the Role

The Internal IT team is responsible for central infrastructure components for the entire DATEV. This includes, among others, the Access Platform including Identity Management, central cloud access via Landing Zones, and the Zero Trust Platform.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) / Private App Access

You are responsible for the setup and operation of the physical and logical network connections between DATEV locations and Palo Alto Prisma Access. This ensures secure and stable access to Private Apps in the DATEV data centers.

Network Services & Integration

You provide and continuously develop the network services and integrations required for ZTNA and internal communication to ensure a reliable and scalable network infrastructure.

Monitoring, Governance & Operations

You are responsible for the stable and traceable operation of the Prisma Access platform. This involves monitoring systems, analyzing events, documenting changes, and ensuring compliance and governance requirements.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

• You have a successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable field of study or training with many years of professional experience.
• You have sound knowledge of malware techniques and common attack patterns in the internet environment.
• You have very good knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols.
• You have a deep understanding of PKI, certificates, and CA trust chains, as well as identity and access integration.
• You have analytical skills in the network environment (e.g., Wireshark basics).
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in SACM and Change Management processes as well as in operating the Palo Alto Platform.

Learnable Skills:

• You will learn to use and operate the Palo Alto Platform.
• You will gain knowledge in designing access policies at the application layer.
• You will acquire knowledge in security incidenting and the ability to distinguish false positives from real security incidents.
