What You'll Do
- Participates in the design process and implements cloud-based solutions.
- Migrating on-premises based workloads into cloud infrastructure.
- Maintenance and monitoring of cloud-based solutions.
- Reporting on cloud usage.
- Partnering with internal teams to support and design efficient cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
- Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure team members to automate and implement infrastructure as code.
- Troubleshoot and support issues related to performance, security, or capabilities of cloud-based solutions.
- Integrate cloud-based solutions with other cloud or on-premises workloads.
- Works closely with other teams to provide technical guidance for cloud options.
- Works with Security team to implementing and maintain security solutions.
- Automate the elasticity of cloud services to minimize costs during light usage and to maximize performance during peak volume.
- Identify inadequate or inefficient systems and suggests alternatives to reduce cost or increase efficiency to enable the company to reach its goals.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies; recommend new solutions.
- Participate in an "on-call" rotation for cloud support.
- Review current server infrastructure and determine sizing and scalability as well as reduce server sprawl.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field preferred.
- 3 - 4 years of related experience in Information Technology.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure
- Experience supporting major infrastructure migration initiatives is preferred.
- Property/casualty insurance background and jewelry industry experience are helpful, but not required.
- Experience with Google Cloud and AWS seen as a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Microsoft, Google, AWS, Cisco, VMware, Citrix, PowerShell preferred.
