Responsibilities

As a Cloud Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the management and delivery of processes, solutions, and projects with a strong focus on quality and risk management.
• Engaging regularly with external clients and leading workstreams through all stages from planning to execution and closure.
• Developing solutions to complex problems and enhancing policies in your work area.
• Providing direction and feedback to team members to ensure successful task completion.

Role of a Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will:

• Lead infrastructure workstreams, driving execution and delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Work alongside other teams to align infrastructure with application requirements.
• Implement automated solutions for builds and deployments.
• Maintain operational services by monitoring system health and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform.
• Drive efficiency and optimizations across processes, tools, and communication.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices for continuous improvement.
• Provide depth and breadth in cloud and networking infrastructure best practices.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

• A Bachelor’s degree with 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in operating High Availability services on Azure.
• Deep understanding of Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Monitor, and more.
• Experience in deploying and managing container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation with Terraform.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
