KPMG is searching for a Cloud Engineering Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients through cloud migration initiatives, including devising cloud migration strategies, conducting application suitability and readiness assessments, planning migrations, identifying sourcing options, developing business cases, and coordinating execution, particularly within Azure.
- Support the adjustment of application designs for cloud compatibility and oversee migrations to new IT infrastructure and cloud (IaaS/PaaS) environments.
- Act as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and technical architects.
- Assist in client engagement pursuits and in the development of service proposals.
- Contribute to enhancements in infrastructure and cloud management methodologies, and participate in producing thought leadership content.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of recent experience in IT infrastructure technology management and architecture, including IaaS/PaaS/DevOps cloud transformation programs and infrastructure automation, along with experience in system/storage administration or engineering and consulting.
- Four years of experience in cloud strategy, migration, and transformation leadership, including implementation and migration of cloud services (IaaS/PaaS), with a focus on Azure or AWS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited institution; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Azure, VMware) are highly regarded.
- Experience with IaaS/PaaS (Azure or AWS) and infrastructure automation/orchestration technologies (e.g., Chef, Puppet, BladeLogic), as well as server, storage, and high availability architecture transformation from strategy to design and implementation; Terraform expertise is highly preferred.
- Additional desirable skills include infrastructure automation and instrumentation (Unix administration, scripting/programming capabilities, SDLC process knowledge), Unified Communications, Collaboration, database/application server architecture, networking, and information security.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the requirement for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
