Cloud Platform Engineer

Your role in the team

• You are responsible for the support and monitoring of our WALTER GROUP Cloud Platform (WGCP).
• You will be responsible for managing our Kubernetes clusters.
• Use Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and YAML to optimize our platform processes.
• Contribute to the further development of WGCP and bring in new ideas and technologies.
• Create efficient solutions and offer developers self‑service options via Rundeck.

• The minimum salary for this position is €55,000 gross per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
• The annual salary consists of 14 monthly payments and a guaranteed bonus.

Our expectations

Qualifications

• Your passion lies in optimizing and automating complex processes.
• You are familiar with gitOps approaches and know how to implement them successfully.
• You are proficient in Bash and Python – knowledge of Golang is a plus.
• You have very good German skills (at least C1) and English skills (at least B2).

Experience

• You have experience with Google Cloud (or alternatively Azure or AWS) and are familiar with technologies such as VPCs, Google Compute Engine (GCE), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and the Google Ops Suite.
