Cloud Security Architect

We’re supporting the search for a Cloud Security Architect to join a global organization operating at scale across complex, multi-cloud environments.

This is a highly technical, architecture-focused role with strong exposure to emerging areas like AI security—ideal for someone who enjoys building secure-by-design environments while partnering across IT and the business.

What you will do:

• Architect and secure multi-cloud environments across GCP, Azure, and SaaS platforms (including Google Workspace)
• Lead the evaluation and selection of cloud security tools, including running POCs and vendor assessments
• Design and implement security controls for cloud-native and SaaS solutions to ensure data protection and compliance
• Own and evolve the cloud security architecture roadmap, including governance, policies, and standards
• Drive end-to-end delivery of cloud security initiatives, from design through execution
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Establish and promote strong cloud security governance, risk awareness, and compliance practices
• Support secure enablement of AI platforms (e.g., Vertex AI, Azure AI), including architecture and controls
• Deliver training and guidance to teams to strengthen the overall control environment
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure security requirements are met and exceeded

What we’re looking for:

Core requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity architecture, or related roles
• Deep hands-on experience securing cloud environments across GCP and Azure
• Strong expertise in access management, DLP, SIEM, and logging/monitoring practices
• Experience designing and securing SaaS platforms within enterprise environments
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, including architecture design and project delivery
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and communicating complex security concepts clearly
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Experience securing AI/ML platforms, including Vertex AI and Azure AI environments
• Understanding of AI/LLM security risks and mitigation strategies
• Experience building or securing generative AI or agent-based solutions
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud provider certifications
• Experience in large, global, or highly regulated environments
