Role

In this role, modern cloud architectures will be designed, built, and continuously developed. The focus is on developing scalable Azure platforms, implementing secure governance and security concepts, and integrating hybrid infrastructures and automated deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Conception and implementation of scalable cloud architectures based on the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise Scale
• Development and management of modern network architectures, including hub-spoke designs, to optimize performance and security
• Creation of governance strategies, policies, and best practices for secure and compliance-compliant cloud environments
• Implementation and further development of identity and security solutions, including Entra ID, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and RBAC
• Planning and integration of hybrid infrastructure concepts between on-premises and cloud-based environments
• Automation of the deployment and management of cloud resources using Terraform
• Implementation and operation of container-based platforms with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Continuous optimization of existing cloud platforms regarding stability, security, and scalability

Qualifications

• Completed degree in computer science or comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in cloud architecture, preferably with Microsoft Azure
• Experience in creating cloud strategies and technical architecture concepts
• Profound knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes
• Experience in cloud governance, security architectures, and hybrid cloud solutions
• Very good knowledge of network design and cloud network management
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Hybrid Identity, PIM, and RBAC is an advantage
• Fluent German, good English skills
