Your Profile

• Sound professional experience in the cloud environment: You have a completed IT-related degree or comparable training and several years of experience as a (Solution/Software/Enterprise) Architect in the cloud context.
• Expertise in cloud architectures & migration: You have a deep understanding of cloud architectures, migration procedures, and frameworks (e.g. Cloud Adoption Frameworks of the hyperscalers) and have already applied them in customer projects.
• Modernization and integration competence: You know common modernization approaches (e.g. Microservices, API-First, Event-driven, Container/Kubernetes) and are familiar with topics such as Identity & Access, Networking, Data, Integration, and Observability.
• Experience with multi-cloud & German providers: You are proficient in at least one hyperscaler ecosystem (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and ideally have experience with German cloud providers (e.g. STACKIT, Open Telekom Cloud, IONOS Cloud).
• Strong consulting competence: You can structure complex technical and business contexts, translate them into clear architectural decisions, and communicate them appropriately to the target audience – from development teams to management.
• AI competence: You have initial experience in the design or integration of AI/GenAI services (e.g. Cognitive Services, LLMs, ML platforms) into cloud architectures and are motivated to expand this knowledge in a targeted manner.
• Language skills: You have very good German and good English skills.

Your Role

• Define Cloud target architectures: Analyze existing application landscapes of our customers, identify modernization potentials and develop viable target images for cloud architectures before, during and after migration.
• Design migration strategies: Select suitable migration and modernization strategies (e.g. Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Rearchitect) and translate them into concrete architecture roadmaps and transition scenarios.
• Design cloud-native solutions: Conceptualize cloud-native architectures (e.g. Microservices, Event-driven, API-First, Container/Kubernetes) based on the common hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and consider German cloud alternatives (e.g. STACKIT, Open Telekom Cloud, IONOS Cloud) if necessary.
• Take over end-to-end responsibility: Accompany projects from early architecture consulting through design and decision phases to implementation, transition, and optimization in ongoing operation.
• Manage collaboration with delivery teams: Work closely with development, DevOps, and platform teams, translate architectural specifications into actionable guardrails, and ensure integration into CI/CD, IaC, and operational processes.
• Advise and convince stakeholders: Moderate customer workshops (e.g. assessments, target image and architecture workshops), prepare decision papers, and present architectures in a target-group-oriented manner for business units and management.
