About This Role

Tek. Synap is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect Senior with Top Secret clearance to join our team in Winchester, VA. In this position, you'll develop comprehensive strategies for cloud-based platforms while translating complex business needs into long-term architecture solutions that drive results for our Federal Government customers.

What You'll Do

You'll take on a leadership role where you develop and design cloud solutions by evaluating multiple software platforms and integrating systems to meet critical program requirements. Your expertise in designing automation for cloud resources using Dev. Ops best practices will be essential, along with your ability to act as the highest-level technical expert in addressing systems integration challenges, compatibility issues, and multi-platform complexities. You'll be responsible for project completion and performing feasibility analysis on potential future initiatives for management. You may lead large development teams in the design of highly complex software systems across our Federal Government customer base.

What We're Looking For

You must bring a minimum of 8 years of overall experience, with at least three years of hands-on experience working with government Amazon Web Services (AWS) SC2S and C2S enclaves. Your background should demonstrate extensive experience providing leadership expertise for large-scale teams spanning multiple environments including cloud, on-premises, and COTS solutions within security enclaves. A Bachelor's Degree in an IT or related field is preferred.

Critically, you must possess a current, active Top Secret security clearance with the capability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). U.S. citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications

Experience using Agile methodologies, particularly Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), is highly preferred. A current SAFe for Architects (ARCH) certification is strongly desired and will distinguish your candidacy.

Work Environment

This is a regular full-time position based in Winchester, VA, operating in an office environment. Your standard work schedule will be day shift Monday through Friday, though you may be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. Travel is approximately 10% of the time. The work environment has medium noise levels, and you'll be regularly required to use hands to handle and feel materials, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. You'll stand, walk, sit, and may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed. Regular lifting of up to 10 pounds is required, with frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
