Cloud System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Migrate, modernize and optimize infrastructure to the cloud
• Automate, maintain and evolve local and cloud-based technology environments
• Migrate the SCCM environment to Microsoft Intune and deploy existing software packages
• Support the transition of desktops from Windows 10 to Windows 11
• Configure and implement Windows Autopilot to automate the deployment of seats
• Implement Windows update automation and handle driver and firmware exceptions
• Automate third-party software updates
• Implement virtualization solutions such as Windows 365 in different environments
• Assist with migration to SaaS solutions and contribute to identity management
• Document and implement archiving processes for cloud environments
• Participate in the implementation of the computer succession plan to ensure the continuity of services
• Collaborate with technical teams to support deployments and integrations
• Support internal teams in the adoption of cloud best practices
• Document the procedures and architectures put in place

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of eight (8) years of information technology experience in roles such as DevOps, systems administrator, or deployment engineering consultant
• Master cloud environments (Azure, Entra, Intune), Windows systems and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)
• Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration in the cloud
• Know SharePoint and its environments
• Have strong scripting skills, especially with PowerShell
• Understand network concepts and cybersecurity principles
• Have participated in a migration project from SCCM to Intune
• Demonstrate a spirit of analysis, rigor and autonomy
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills for coaching and teamwork
• Hold Microsoft Azure certifications (MD-102, AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-800, AZ-801) (an asset)
• Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) certification (an asset)
