Cloud Transformation Consultant

Role Overview

Koedr is looking for highly talented and technical consultants to help accelerate our professional services business. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert and have experience working as a customer facing consultant and/or subject matter expert on cloud technologies within an enterprise. A background of deep technical expertise supporting customers in at least one of the following enterprise technology areas: Cloud Adoption; Cloud migration and deployment; Digital Transformation; Database, Infrastructure Services and Middleware management, Software Development, DevOps pipeline builds and management.

With Koedr, you will keep your existing technical skills honed and develop new ones as you lead architecture discussions and proof of concept build outs for customers. You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and hands-on design exercises to create world-class cloud solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Leading projects by supporting customers and our partners in establishing their foundational processes and technology to enable successful cloud adoption/digital transformation initiatives.
• An understanding of enterprise software development tools, infrastructure services and methodologies, including typical enterprise architectures and the ability to write basic scripted or compiled code.
• A mix of advanced technology and strategic business acumen as well as a demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to the business value of Koedr services and offerings.
• Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
• Our consultants work with our strategic partners locally. As such, Consultants must have the ability to travel to client locations to sell and deliver professional services as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• BSc. in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent degree
• 1 -2 work experience related to your field of study
• Substantial design/implementation/consulting experience with enterprise technologies in support of distributed applications.
• Experience with cloud development tools and methodologies, including basic ability to write scripted or compiled code.
• Experience presenting technical material to both technical and non-technical clients.
• Written and verbal communication skills (English)

Proffered Qualifications

• AWS certification, or ability to get certified within three months of hire.
• Proven hands-on cloud design/implementation/consulting experience
• Experience in running complex projects.
• Experience building sophisticated and highly automated cloud infrastructure.
• High level of skill communications across internal and external organizations.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Ability to be comfortable speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
• Ability to work in a diverse team.
