Profile Overview

We are looking for a skilled CMS Backend Developer with hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining CMS-based websites, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom themes and plugins for WordPress.

• Customize and optimize Shopify themes and backend functionalities.

• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.

• Manage website performance, security, and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues across CMS platforms.

• Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and project managers.

• Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance of CMS websites.

• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

Required Skills

• Strong hands on experience in WordPress and Shopify development.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Experience in building custom WordPress themes and plugins.

• Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templating language.

• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

• Understanding of version control systems like Git.

• Knowledge of website security best practices.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in WordPress, Shopify, or web development are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify app development.

• Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).

• Knowledge of hosting environments and server management.

• Experience with performance optimization tools.
