About

As a Solutions Engineer at Dynatrace, you join the sales engine to deliver high‑quality technical support across North America. You will grow into the role through mentorship, hands‑on experience, and cross‑functional collaboration. You’ll demonstrate Dynatrace's observability platform, support evaluations and PoCs, and translate technical value into business outcomes. This remote role offers hybrid options and a clear path to become a trusted technical advisor. You’ll help shape proposals and collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to expand Dynatrace adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert for Dynatrace during customer engagements from discovery to solution design
  • Lead and support live and remote product demonstrations highlighting value
  • Provide technical guidance in Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages
  • Contribute to PoC engagements with customers and internal teams
  • Identify and support new sales opportunities with the sales team
  • Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and technical documentation
  • Build strong technical relationships with customers and prospects
  • Gather customer feedback for Product Management to influence roadmaps
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Expert Services, Customer Success, and Marketing
  • Create and tailor Dynatrace template presentations for each customer
  • Develop technical, presentation, and customer-facing skills through enablement and mentorship

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and document processes
  • Fundamental CLI experience (bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills translating technical value to business value
  • Interest in application performance, observability, cloud platforms, or distributed systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical curiosity
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving environments
  • Comfort supporting multiple customer engagements with guidance
