Marcus Hi-Tech Engineering is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company focused on delivering high-quality engineering solutions to global markets. As we expand our International Business Unit, we are looking for experienced professionals to join our new Business Unit and help us scale our sourcing and supply chain operations efficiently. Position Summary

The Costing/Estimation Manager will play a critical role in preparing competitive quotes for global RFQs, managing cost databases, and driving data-driven decisions on pricing strategies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cost estimation and price benchmarking for multiple commodities including die casting, sheet metal fabrication, plastic injection molding, forgings, and machined components. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret RFQs from global customers and prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates. • Work closely with sourcing, engineering, and vendor development teams to get real-time inputs on raw material prices, process costs, and logistics. • Track and analyze raw material price trends (e.g., aluminum, steel, plastic resins) and logistics costs (domestic & international) to ensure competitiveness. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost database covering key commodities, manufacturing processes, and supply chain elements. • Benchmark supplier pricing and identify opportunities for cost optimization. • Understand manufacturing drawings and BOMs to evaluate production processes and cost drivers. • Support quote negotiations with data-driven cost breakdowns and should-cost analysis. • Coordinate with vendors across India and overseas for timely quote collection. • Support NPD and Program Management teams with feasibility checks and cost inputs. • Stay updated with global trade, freight, and duty structures for export pricing. • Provide regular reports to the Operational Head on estimation pipeline, win/loss analysis, and pricing strategy. Key Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field. • 5–10 years of relevant experience in costing/estimation in a manufacturing or sourcing setup. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes across die casting, sheet metal, plastic molding, machining, and forgings. • Working knowledge of commodity price trends, supplier cost structures, and global logistics costs. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T. • Proficient in Excel, costing software/tools, and ERP systems . • Good communication skills to collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams. • Prior experience in export-oriented business or global sourcing is a strong advantage.
