Role

The position focuses on Security Operations, Incident Response, and the further development of detection and response capabilities. The goal is the reliable protection of IT systems through proactive monitoring, structured analysis, and sustainable security measures.

Responsibilities

  • Operation and further development of EDR/XDR solutions (e.g., Crowdstrike)
  • Monitoring and analysis of security events using SIEM and conducting threat hunting
  • Technical leadership and coordination in security incidents, including the involvement of external partners
  • Conducting forensic analyses and evaluating network traffic and event logs
  • Deriving and implementing measures for vulnerability remediation and system hardening
  • Documentation of incidents within the scope of risk management and support for audits

Qualifications

  • Experience with EDR/XDR, SIEM, and log analysis in security environments
  • Knowledge in digital forensics and analysis of network and system data
  • Sound knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
  • Analytical, structured, and precise way of working, even under time pressure
  • High level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Very good German and English skills
