The Cyber Security Analyst will play an essential role in safeguarding our enterprise systems and networks. This position is focused on monitoring security tools, identifying potential threats, and assisting in the investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents. You will work alongside senior analysts and engineering teams to implement and operate robust cybersecurity controls.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security platforms for alerts and assist in the detection, analysis, and escalation of security incidents.
  • Support vulnerability management activities and document findings along with remediation efforts.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including basic forensic data collection and supporting recovery efforts after cybersecurity events.
  • Assist with security assessments, documentation, and compliance-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement security controls and provide technical support for security tools.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Administer security information and event management systems, log event correlation, and antivirus software.
  • Maintain compliance for servers and appliances in regulated environments.
  • Prepare reports on incidents and activities to keep track of daily operations and security trends.
  • Document system information and create user guides.
  • Utilize knowledge of WAN/LAN technologies, Windows Active Directory, Exchange, Azure, EDR technologies, and various cybersecurity tools.
  • Manage security appliances and security monitoring software effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Who You Are (Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related IT discipline, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 1‑3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
  • Possess one of the following certifications: Security+, CySA, CEH, GCIH, or GSEC.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License.
