Cyber Security Engineer

We’re working with a large, global organisation seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing security function. This role will focus on designing and implementing security solutions, protecting infrastructure, and supporting incident response across a complex enterprise environment.

You’ll work closely with IT, applications, and compliance teams to ensure security is embedded across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions across infrastructure and applications
• Support network and cloud security (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, Azure)
• Monitor security tools (SIEM/EDR) and support incident response activities
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
• Contribute to secure architecture, threat modelling, and best practices

Key Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Cyber Security / Security Engineering
• Strong knowledge of networking, infrastructure (Microsoft), and cloud environments (Azure)
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
• Understanding of security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)
• Knowledge of IAM, encryption, and common attack vectors
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
