Your new challenge

• You will further develop our vulnerability management (Tenable) for server, client, network, and cloud components, and plan, conduct, and evaluate regular vulnerability scans.
• You will consolidate and analyze scan results on a risk-based approach and prioritize findings by incorporating threat intelligence.
• You will develop targeted remediation recommendations, convert them into tickets, and work with the operations teams on mitigation.
• You will coordinate and perform patches, partly independently, on Windows/Linux/client systems, agree on patch windows with change management and business units, and support emergency patching, including documentation and follow-up.
• You will build KPIs such as patch compliance, MTTR for critical vulnerabilities, and scan coverage, and create evaluations and reports.
• You will work closely with the CSE team to synchronize infrastructure and application patching, thereby increasing throughput times, quality, and audit readiness throughout the entire remediation process.

Your Profile

• You have completed vocational training or a degree in an IT environment, or possess equivalent relevant professional experience.
• You have several years of practical experience in server/platform operations (Windows, Linux) and/or technical IT security.
• You work confidently with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys) and patch management solutions and use them purposefully.
• You have a solid basic understanding of network and cloud architectures (e.g., Azure) as well as common hardening requirements.
• You work in a structured, process- and documentation-oriented manner and are characterized by high reliability.
• You cooperate constructively with various operations teams and pragmatically convey security requirements; ideally, you have experience in regulated environments and are familiar with DORA.
• You communicate flawlessly in German.
