We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer / Analyst to join our team and bolster our organization’s security posture. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security protocols aligned with industry standards including NIST, ISO , and FedRAMP to protect organizational assets.
  • Monitor network traffic using SIEM tools like Splunk or SolarWinds for threat detection, incident response, and log analysis.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and research using tools such as Nessus or OpenVAS to identify weaknesses within IT infrastructure.
  • Manage network security devices including firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, VPNs, and Cisco ISE for identity management and access control.
  • Support system hardening initiatives on operating systems like Linux (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu), Windows, macOS, and cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Assist in incident recovery procedures by analyzing threats related to malware, encryption breaches, or unauthorized access incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system security plans, disaster recovery planning, and implementing secure network architectures utilizing routing protocols like OSPF or BGP.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF), and network installation/support.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST standards, ISO 27000 series, DIACAP, RMF, FISMA, and COBIT.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools including SIEM platforms (Splunk), IDS/IPS systems, load balancers, and open-source scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as SAN storage solutions, VMware vSphere virtualization technology, system administration on Linux/Unix (CentOS/Ubuntu), and cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Understanding of encryption methods including PKI implementations and SSL/TLS protocols for secure communications.
  • Ability to perform vulnerability research & assessment techniques using tools like Nessus or Qualys while adhering to best practices in vulnerability management.
  • Excellent analytical skills in threat detection & response activities along with knowledge of incident management processes aligned with ITIL standards.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH or Cisco CCNP Security are preferred but not mandatory; a strong foundation in computer science or information security is essential.
