About the role

Summary

The Data Analyst & Agreements Reporting Specialist is responsible for supporting the GVP of Service and the Assistant Director in the analysis, management and reporting of departmental data related to national and local collective bargaining agreements, trade jurisdiction, and geographical jurisdiction.

This position focuses heavily on data analysis, database management, and the development of strategic and operational reports used by senior leadership, including General President, General Vice Presidents, and Fund Administrators.

This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of agreement related data, while assisting in the oversight and administration of agreements at both the national and local levels.

The Data Analyst & Agreements Reporting Specialist also contributes to data driven decision making by developing analytical reports, comparative wage analyses, and statistical summaries related to signatory contractors, collective bargaining agreements, and jurisdictional matters.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze departmental data related to national agreements, local collective bargaining agreements, signatory contractors, jurisdictional boundaries, and wage packages.
  • Develop, maintain, and generate comprehensive departmental reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Perform data analysis of wage and benefit packages, including breakdowns of total compensation structures across agreements.
  • Design and produce analytical reports, charts, and presentation for leadership meetings.
  • Conduct comparative data analysis including wage comparisons, benefit structures, and industry benchmarks using internal data and external data sources such as the U.S. Department of Labor.
  • Support leadership requests for custom analytical reports, including contractor activity, industry trends, and regional agreement data.
  • Maintain and update internal agreement databases to ensure accurate reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Assist with the oversight, analysis, and maintenance of data related to various agreements administered by the service department.
  • Supporting the management and reporting of approximately twenty-six (26) different types of National Agreements covering work across the United States.
  • Maintain a centralized database of District Council and Local Union Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)
  • Review agreements to ensure compliance with mandatory language required by the IUPAT Constitution.
  • Track agreement effective dates, expiration dates, and wage re-opener provisions.
  • Support reporting and data analysis related to local CBA activity across jurisdictions.
  • Assist in submitting current agreements and wage schedules to the U.S. Department of Labor to maintain updated prevailing wage determinations.
  • Prepare National Agreement Job Registration Reports for Regional Vice Presidents showing registered projects and associated data.
  • Analyze and compile data related to jurisdictional disputes.
  • Develop charts, graphs, and PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings and policy discussions.
  • Prepare analytical reports on union jurisdictional boundaries as requested by leadership.
  • Develop custom reports requested by the General President and other leadership regarding geographical jurisdiction.
  • Maintain and organize departmental data related to pension participant contractors and contract contribution rates.
  • Analyze and structure contract rate data across multiple skill classifications defined by local CBAs
  • Support the setup and maintenance of contractor accounts and District Council/Local Union accounts involved in the central collection process.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of data analysis and management experience
  • Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Familiarity with the IUPAT Constitution preferred

Work Environment

Us of the computer for approximately 80% of the day. Forty (40) hours will constitute the regular work week. Travel as required to support servicing and organizational needs.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
