• Our Data Analytics department supports all business units with data-driven decision-making foundations and forms the basis for our Business Intelligence landscape.
• It includes, among other things, reporting, data governance, data engineering, and analysis.
• With your expertise as a Reporting Specialist (m/f/d), you turn data into clear decisions.
• You prepare complex information in a way that allows our specialist departments to act quickly and competently.
• In this role, you will take project responsibility and serve as a link between the business decision-makers and technical experts.

Data Models & Reporting

• Further development and maintenance of dashboards and reports in SAP Business Objects and SAC.

Ad-hoc analyses

• Recording, structuring, and analytical processing of questions from the specialist departments.

Project responsibility

• Managing BI projects and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Data Governance

• Ensuring data quality, standards, and governance policies in the BI environment.

System Development

• Further development of BI frontend architectures and consolidation of existing reporting landscapes.

Key-User Support

• Support, training, and further development of Key Users as well as maintaining uniform reporting standards.

BI Strategy

• Contributing to the further development of the BI strategy, including the integration of Self-Service BI and the introduction of new tools.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills: Routine in data analysis and reporting, as well as understanding of data models, ETL processes, and Data Warehouse structures.
• Tech mindset: Good understanding of data models and database structures, as well as enthusiasm for further developing BI systems and actively shaping our data landscape.
• Business perspective: Understanding of business processes and a good sense for KPIs and data-driven decisions.
• Team spirit & Working style: A proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with teamwork skills and a structured, responsible approach to work.

Experience

• BI expertise: experience with BI tools, ideally SAP Business Objects (BO / Web Intelligence - 'Webi') and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Project & Communication Skills: Experience in project management, a strong emphasis on structure and analysis, as well as the ability to clearly communicate complex issues - in German (B2/C1) as well as in English (B1/B2).

Education

• Professional qualification: Completed degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or a comparable field - supplemented by professional experience in a similar role.
