About the Department

For the "Center Planning & Reporting" department, we are looking for a "Data Analyst Controlling (w/m/d)" for professional data management in the Controlling department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The "Center Planning & Reporting" department is responsible for the controlling of the Operations, Engineering, Programs, and Programs Finance departments at HENSOLDT Sensors and Optronics. As a business partner for these areas, the scope of duties includes all components and tasks of cost center planning and reporting, investment controlling, and support for personnel and capacity planning.

Your Responsibilities

• Visualization of complex data by creating reports, dashboards, and KPIs
• Development and automation of flexible and scalable data models
• Improvement of data management and ensuring data quality and consistency
• Structuring complex problems and deriving logical connections in a business context
• Optimization and support of existing tools, templates, and analysis methods, especially the improvement of reporting tools, planning cycles, and forecasts (Predictive Forecasts)
• Future-oriented alignment of usable tools and technologies (AI/ Digitalization)

Your Profile

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable, ideally with a focus on Analytics
• Sound knowledge of database programming (SQL, or similar)
• Very good knowledge of reporting and visualization tools (PowerBI, or similar)
• Several years of professional experience and very good knowledge of business contexts
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP
• Analytical and conceptual thinking
• Ability to analyze complex data and present it comprehensibly
• Independence and strong communication and teamwork skills
