For the "Center Planning & Reporting" department, we are looking for a "Data Analyst Controlling" (w/m/d) as soon as possible for professional data management in the Controlling department at the Ulm site.

The "Center Planning & Reporting" department is responsible for the controlling of the Operations, Engineering, Programs, and Programs Finance divisions at HENSOLDT Sensors and Optronics. As a business partner for these areas, the scope of duties includes all components and tasks of cost center planning and reporting, investment controlling, and support for personnel and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Visualization of complex data by creating reports, dashboards, and KPIs
• Development and automation of flexible and scalable data models
• Improvement of data management and ensuring data quality and consistency
• Structuring complex problems and deriving logical connections in a business context
• Optimization and support of existing tools, templates, and analysis methods, especially the improvement of reporting tools, planning cycles, and forecasts (Predictive Forecasts)
• Future-oriented alignment of usable tools and technologies (AI/ Digitalization)

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable, ideally with a focus on Analytics
• Sound knowledge of database programming (SQL, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of reporting and visualization options (PowerBI, etc.)
• Several years of professional experience and very good knowledge of business contexts
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP
• Analytical and conceptual thinking
• Ability to analyze complex data and present it comprehensibly
• Independence and strong communication and teamwork skills
