About the role
We are a family-run beverage wholesaler with strong regional roots and a forward-thinking business approach. To make our decisions even more informed, efficient, and future-oriented, we are strategically expanding our data-driven management. Your role: As a Data Analyst/Data Scientist, you will be the central point of contact for data-based questions. You will analyze purchase and sales data, develop forecasts, and create transparency for management, purchasing, and sales – directly influencing strategy and operational decisions. This position is exclusively on-site (no remote work). Your tasks
• Analysis of purchase, customer, price and sales data
• Development and responsibility for KPIs, dashboards and management reports
• Preparation of sales, demand and inventory forecasts
• Derivation of concrete recommendations for action for purchasing, sales and management.
• Further development of data architecture and data quality
• Advising specialist departments on data-driven issues
• Introduction and application of advanced analytics & machine learning (use case driven)
Your profile
• Professional experience in the field of Data Analytics / Data Science
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and statistical methods
• Solid experience with BI & visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Experience in handling large, operational enterprise data
• Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex analyses in an understandable way.
• Independent, structured work style with high quality standards
• German language skills at native speaker level (at least C1) – mandatory
• Willingness and/or ability to work permanently on-site (no remote work)
