In our Competence Centers "Data Platforms" and "Data Analytics", we support our clients in the data analysis of operational data, sensor data, and logistical data of complex military systems. Within the Data Analytics Competence Center, we are responsible for the Data Science and Advanced Analytics components. The Defence & Security business unit is particularly committed to the armed forces and is a recognized technical service provider at national and international level for the conception of solutions, the support of analysis, development, and implementation projects, and the provision of services.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce the team in the independent analysis of weapon system data with a focus on logistics processes in a military environment using industry-standard and innovative methods and tools
• Accessing various data sources with information to ensure system availability
• Independent analysis of customer requirements and framework conditions for the development of stable and high-quality solutions
• Mainly responsible for the development of Python programs to ensure data analysis for specific questions and support the team through code reviews
• Responsible for the review, visualization, evaluation, linking, and cleaning of available data deliveries and their integration into the existing data analysis pipeline

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, or comparable
• Relevant practical experience in the field of Python-based data science methods and tools, ideally with knowledge of advanced analytics methods
• Expertise in the conception and implementation of data analysis projects
• Strong interest in the in-depth analysis of weapon system data and its linkage with weapon system technology
• Structured and independent analytical working method, combined with a high quality awareness and team orientation
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing

You will strengthen our data analysis team and contribute your knowledge and experience in the field of Data Science to our ongoing project work. At the same time, our colleagues will provide you with intensive support, especially at the beginning, in technically familiarizing yourself with our data landscape.
